Nike's Slick Foamposite Dad Sneaker Is Outdoor-Ready
Nike has designed something we didn't know we needed until now: a Foamposite dad sneaker.
Well, it's actually a low-top boot aptly named the Air Max Goadome Low Foamposite. It just so happens to look more like a sneaker than a boot.
The name pretty much says it all, too. It brings the Foamposite's famously wavy upper mold to the ACG Goadome, complete with the signature Air cushioning underfoot. It's basically those "Foamdome" boots with the top off.
Nike's been teasing the Foamposite Goadomes for a while now. They first appeared during a Paris Fashion Week showcase in June, alongside croc Air Max Goadomes, square-toe Air Force 1s, and the all-new Air Max Dolce Leather.
Then, the low-top boots starred in October's SNKRS Verified episode. That made sense, since the episode focused on Nike's upcoming winter shoes like the Rejuven8 WNTR.
Now, the time has finally come for the Foamposite Goadome Lows.
It's set to debut in the famous "Metallic Gold" colorway, a.k.a. the "Green Goblin" scheme inspired by the famous Spider-Man villain (who actually wore custom Nike shoes in the 2002 film).
The Air Max Goadome Low sneakers have already started to populate some overseas stores. Expect them to hit Nike's global channels soon.
