The Nike GT Future basketball shoe is already out of this world, thanks to its wild, wavy molded design and the high-tech Nike cushioning under the hood. With this new "Galaxy" look, the futuristic sneaker literally looks like it's from another planet.

Nike put fresh starry graphic wallpapers on the newest GT Future sneaker, which comes in a pinkish-purple colorway. Sprinkled with more pink and silver accents, it's hands-down the most stellar version of the cushy hoops sneaker.

The newest GT Future is actually part of a collection designed for the CHBL (Chinese High School Basketball League), an overseas high school basketball tournament sponsored by — you guessed it — Nike.

The CHBL collection includes not only the GT Future but also an equally galactic GT Cut 4 and Sabrina 3 sneaker. But of course, the GT Future steals the show.

And it's not solely because of its weird-cool design, which has gone full space cadet mode. In a way, it's sort of a nod to the model's very distant cousin, the Air Foamposite One, which famously wore a "Galaxy" outfit back in the day (the sneaker returned in 2025).

According to sneaker leakers, the star-struck Nike model is set to release exclusively overseas on April 30, alongside the rest of the CHBL collection. But don't worry, Nike has more otherworldly GT Futures on the way.

And the next pair has even more aura than the last. It's literally named "Galaxy Aura," too.
