Editor’s Notes: Nike is dropping two new colorways of its futuristic React Element 87 sneaker (which many are saying is Nike’s best silhouette of 2018 so far — we agree) — one in a dark grey/pure platinum/photo blue, and one in desert sand/cool grey/smoke mauve.

Official word came from Nike after rumors circulated in July that two new colorways would arrive this season, and another two in early 2019. The United States received the two new colorways first on August 14, while Europe sees a release today.

Both new colorways feature the same translucent upper that has become something of a Nike staple, the Swoosh having previously used it on the OFF-WHITE x Nike Zoom Fly and other running sneakers.

What do you think of the new colorways? Are they better than the originals? Let us know in the comments.
