Editor’s Notes: Nike's ultra-futuristic React Element 87 sneaker is making another appearance after the lauded UNDERCOVER collaboration, this time in three new general release colorways.

One of the colorways has been unofficially dubbed “South Beach” and features GTA: Vice City-style teal and pink detailing on the midsole and stitching. The second is a more in-your-face blue/orange iteration. The third — and last to be unveiled — is a black-soled masterpiece featuring black and red accents.

Now, various global retailers (listed below) have started announcing the release of all three new colorways.

Designed by the Nike special projects team, led by senior design director Nate Jobe, the React Element 87 has a futuristic, technical vibe. Speaking about the project around the time of release, Jobe said, “The Nike Element React 87 was realized by drilling foam and applying a computational design filter. The results presented a new articulation of Nike’s React technology while an out-the-box interpretation of a friendly runner from the past yielded an avant-garde new upper.”

A selection of retailers that stocked the previous colorways of the React Element 87 are listed below. As official information about the new colorways becomes available, we’ll update the list with the appropriate retailers.
