Editor's Notes: NOAH knows best. The New York-based brand doesn't try too hard for its collaborative drops, preferring simple stuff that speaks for itself in a way that mirrors its own seasonal collections. That's why NOAH's FW21 Vans collaboration opts for approachable earth-toned revisions rather than outré nuttiness.

Recent Vans collections and collabs have delved deep into the mouth of madness, and there's nothing wrong with that. But NOAH is taking a step back for its exclusive Caballero VLT LX and Authentic One Piece VLT LX shoes, incorporating subtle, sturdy materials and hushed branding to great effect.

Two of the former and three of the latter silhouettes are on hand, all rendered in wheat, beige, brown, and spruce green-toned suede. A debossed NOAH cross logo graces the rear of each silhouette, an appropriately understated accent.

These shoes are all very much skate-ready but they're also as dressy as NOAH's refined apparel, with unfussed shapes that retain the versatility core to Vans' classic make-ups. They recall last year's Vans collab (crazy patterns aside), though the elegant, sepia-toned photographs flatter these sneakers even further, really emphasizing the refined shapes and quality fabrication.
