In the past few years, the running footwear scene has been blown wide open. New names have entered the space to challenge the old guard and none has done that more effectively than On. The Swiss brand has not so slowly taken over the performance sphere with distinctive visuals and equally attractive technicals. The latest release to catch our eye is the Cloudultra Nite.

This limited-edition drop is based on the high-tech Cloudultra trail runner but sees the silhouette updated for everyday wear and optimized visibility at night time. The most notable new asset of the On Cloudultra Nite is the reflective section added to the black upper which reveals itself in the dark, reflecting muted rainbow hues when lit up.

As for the returning specialties, two layers of stacked CloudTec from Helion Superfoam provide the smoothest ride around, suited well to long mountain runs and dance floors alike. Missiongrip to the outsole provides trusty grip on rough terrain while a durable mesh upper offers climate control.
