Dior has released a new book by Peter Lindbergh, the late photographer and longtime collaborator with the brand. His concept was simple: pull pieces from the house's esteemed 70-year history and shoot them in Times Square. What makes it extraordinary is that Dior allowed so many of its iconic garments out of its vaults and across the Atlantic.

The book comes in two volumes: the first featuring 165 never-before-published photos from the historic shoot and the second featuring more than 100 photos from his long relationship with Dior. It also marks Lindbergh's last project with Dior before he passed away in September.

You can purchase the book now at publisher Taschen's website for $200.
