Following teasers and leaked images of Pharrell Williams’ collaborative adidas Superstar, we now get our closest look at the sneaker via YouTube sneaker unboxer, Seth Fowler.

Fowler was seeded an early pair, which suggests an official release date could be coming up soon. The adidas Originals Superstar is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and, after relaunching OG colorways and partnering with other adidas creators, Pharrell Williams is the latest to put his take on the classic silhouette.

Fowler’s detailed unboxing video (below) reveals that the sneaker is made using adidas PrimeGreen knitted material, which appears to be a more sustainable version of Primeknit. Additionally, what appear to be leftover material scraps have been used in the construction of the Pharrell x adidas Superstar, adding brightly-colored pops to an otherwise white knitted base. The model’s signature shelltoe remains intact.

No information has been communicated regarding a release, though official information could follow soon. Stay tuned and in the meantime, check out the sneaker from different angles below.

Pharrell and adidas have worked on the silhouette once before, when they teamed up for the 50 piece “Supercolor” Pack from 2015.
