PUMA’s chunky and highly-anticipated Thunder Spectra silhouette is highlighted to great effect in retailer BLENDS’ latest editorial. The sneaker boutique shoots the sneaker in a retro-futuristic theme and leaves us all hoping to cop the Thunder Spectra when it drops April 28.

The runner is seen styled alongside black socks, grey trousers, a red button-up shirt, and a black tie which, while unorthodox and may not be our first ’fit of choice, proves to perfectly complement the multicolored Thunder Spectra.

PUMA’s latest design takes cues from the world of European synth-pop, specifically Kraftwerk, and, of course, from the iconic Alexander McQueen’s long-term partnership with the brand.

Flip through the images above and then watch BLENDS’ editorial video below to get you in the mood for the drop ahead of April 28.

Let us know your thoughts on the sneaker. Will you be copping a pair come drop date?

In other sneaker news, here’s how to buy the OFF–WHITE x Nike Air VaporMax in white that are rumored to drop on April 14.
