We've been enthusing about the bandana as a subversive and fit-elevating fashion accessory for some time now, but READYMADE just one-up'd the pattern-covered cloth in a big way. The Japanese brand is readying to drop a down jacket constructed from recycled bandanas, and we'll be looking to cop the minute it arrives. Take a look above.

According to Mastered, the jacket is part of a two-piece drop. Both pieces have been built from bandana's constructed in the United States between the 1950s and 1970s, and American military tent fabric. The zippers meanwhile are courtesy of Italian brand RACCAGNI, who are all about performance, symmetry, and quality.

What's more, materials on the jackets are free from processing, further upping the recycled piece's sustainable value.

The coat is dropping next weekend, Saturday November, 16, and will be sold in limited quantities at READYMADE's pop-up at ESTNATION in Toyko's Ropp Ongi Hills and in Kobe. Pricing details TBC.
