Richard Mille

Luxury Swiss watchmakers Richard Mille just unveiled 10 playful models of its signature timepieces dubbed the "Bonbon" collection to kick off SIHH 2019. The entire range is inspired by classic sweets from our childhood.

The Fruit line is a homage to the concept of sweets in six flavors: "Lemon" and "Strawberry" (RM 16-01), "Blueberry" and "Litchi" (RM 07-03), "Kiwi" and "Cherry" (RM 37-01). The remaining line consists of the Sweets collection with four models: the RM 07-03 "Cupcake," RM 07-03 "Marshmallow," RM 37-01 "Sucette"(Lollipop) and "RM 16-01 Réglisse" (Liquorice).

All timepieces are composed with two-tone ceramic cases that are emphasized by its vibrant enamel or black-chromed titanium confections. With the help of some of the world’s most skilled fine arts craftspeople to produce the playful models, the offering also highlights the world premiere of a new turquoise hue thanks to its color-gradient cases. Furthermore, the distinctive miniature sculptures defining the collection have been meticulously painted in acrylics and lacquered by hand, along with a "sugar coating" effect that was achieved using powdered enamel and fine sand.
