Sacai x Gloverall's Hybrid Jackets Getting Wider Release This Month
Season: FW18
Key Features: The apparel collaboration takes Gloverall's classic duffel coat and pairs it with sacai's hybrid aesthetic for a piece that is part heritage, part puffer. The coat comes in two colorways: beige/metallic green and navy/black. There is also a hybrid bomber with hood in olive green/navy and black.
Release Date: December 22
Buy: Dover Street Market and other select international retailers
Editor’s Notes: Japanese label sacai's jackets in collaboration with British heritage brand Gloverall are about to get a wider international release.
They were initially only available at four sacai walk-in stores at Lane Crawford locations in Hong Kong and China from November 6 (and will still be on sale there until December 26). The puffer/duffel (or puffel/duffer) coat and hybrid bomber come in two colorways each, and retail at $1,190 and $795 respectively.
Information about the additional retailers stocking the collab can be found in sacai's Instagram post below.
At the same time as the initial apparel drop at Lane Crawford, sacai also collaborated with Japanese collectibles brand Medicom Toy on a new version of the Be@rbrick modeling sacai hybrid garms from the FW18 women's collection. Check out the bear's flex below.
The Be@rbrick is also available at the Lane Crawford walk-ins in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing until December 26 and comes in three sizes: 100 percent, 400 percent, and 1000 percent.
