The Shoe Surgeon recently unveiled perhaps his best project to date. Teaming up with reigning NBA champions, the Golden State Warriors (who also happen to be his home team), Dominic Ciambrone aka the Shoe Surgeon has created an asymmetrical “Championship” Nike Air Jordan 1.

The sneaker, which is dressed in the Warriors’ famous blue and gold, is constructed using authentic team jerseys as well as nets from last year’s NBA Finals games. A white mesh material, presumably from the jerseys, is stretched over a yellow base, while patent blue leather is seen on the leather overlays and Swoosh.

Golden State Warriors branding is seen on the tongue tag, while “Strength in Numbers” is printed on the ankle collar,

According to Ciambrone, only six pairs of the commemorative sneaker have been made. No news yet on whether those were made for Warriors players specifically or if the design will see a release on his official site in the coming days.

As always, stay tuned for more information. In the meantime, check out the kicks above.
