Netflix has shared the first trailer for its anticipated new comedy series, Space Force. The show is co-created by Steve Carell and Greg Daniels of The Office, with Carell also taking a starring role.

Space Force centers around a four-star general by the name of Mark R. Naird (Carell), who instead of fulfilling his dream of running the Air Force, has been chosen to lead Space Force, the newly-formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces. After relocating his family to a remote base in Colorado, Naird and his team of scientists and “Spacemen” are tasked with getting the US on the moon once again to achieve total space dominance.

According to Netflix, Space Force is a "new kind of workplace comedy, where the stakes are sky high and the ambitions even higher." The series pits Carell alongside John Malkovich, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, Ben Schwartz, Lisa Kudrow, Jimmy O. Yang, Noah Emmerich, Alex Sparrow, and Don Lake.
