Nike & Stüssy are coming in hot with with collection of surf gear and those long-awaited LD-1000 sneakers.

At the top of the year, samples of Stüssy's Nike LD-1000 sneakers surfaced, much to fan's excitement. The collaboration saw Nike's eldest model refreshed with a classic neon green paint job and the Stüssy's stamps of approval.

Beneath the striking design, the collaborative Nike LD-1000 retains its signature airy mesh and suede upper, complemented by the historic Waffle tread.

As revealed in Nike's latest SNKRS Showcase, Nike's LD-1000 sneakers are one of many returning Swoosh classics to get dusted off this year, next to Nike's timeless football boot and indoor soccer shoes.

General release pairs of the LD-1000s are expected to start rolling in as early as August. But first, it's time for Stüssy's highly anticipated collaboration.

Stüssy and Nike have officially confirmed that its mesh LD-1000 trainers will drop on July 12 on Stüssy's website, alongside sun-ready swim apparel and beachy linen wears.

In addition to the "Action Green" colorway, a second "Phantom" version of Stüssy's Nike LD-1000 sneaker will be for grabs.
