Tame Impala have returned. They have dropped a new single titled "Patience," a track that brings a heavy dose of disco and house grooves to their signature psychedelic pop. Take a listen below.

"Patience" is the first release from the band since their Grammy-nominated 2015 album Currents. While details of their upcoming project have yet to emerge, rumors of new material have been swirling ever since they were announced as the Saturday headlining slot at this year's Coachella. They will also be making their debut on SNL next weekend, on March 30.

Though it has been a fair amount of time since the last Tame Impala record, frontman Kevin Parker has kept himself busy. In the past year, he contributed production work to Travis Scott's Astroworld and teamed up with Theophilus London on a set of singles.

Revisit our deep dive into Kevin Parker's enduring love affair with hip-hop here.
