A new video from The Matrix 4 set has surfaced and it finally provides our first look at Keanu Reeves character Neo in that iconic coat.

What is most striking about this latest video is the emptiness of the street and the accompanying rainfall. The lack of people in the lonely shot of Neo prowling the street recalls his final fatal battle with Agent Smith in 2003's The Matrix Revolutions, raising the question once again — how is he alive?

Filming for the next The Matrix installation began earlier this month and several images from the set have surfaced online. However, this is the first time we are seeing Reeves bring back his long black coat.

We don't expect to have the answers anytime soon. The Matrix 4 will arrive in cinemas on May 21, 2021. Take a look at Neo's lonely prowl below.
