New videos and images from The Matrix 4's San Francisco set have emerged and they provide our first look at Keanu Reeves in the upcoming action film.

This is the first time we are seeing Reeves in the iconic role of Neo since 2003's The Matrix: Revolutions and a lot has changed. Fan videos show Reeves sporting a John Wick-reminiscent long hairdo and he's not in his famous leather garb, either. Check out images of Reeves in the outdoor production below.

The Lana Wachowski-directed film reunites some of the original cast. Like Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss and Jada Pinkett Smith will reprise their roles, joined by newcomers including Neil Patrick Harris and Priyanka Chopra, actor Andrew Caldwell.

The release date for The Matrix 4 is May 21, 2021.
