Singer-songwriter Tayla Parx just dropped a video for her new single "I Want You" from her upcoming debut album We Need To Talk. Watch the kooky video above.

The 25-year-old sings about indecision with joy in "I Want You." Ariana Grande actually shared the song with her Twitter followers yesterday.

If the song reminds you of an Ariana Grande bop, you wouldn't be far off. Parx is a prolific and successful songwriter, with writing credits for artists such as Ariana Grande (she wrote 6 songs on Thank U, Next), Janelle Monae, Panic! At The Disco, and even K-Pop supergroup BTS under her belt.

Parx has been nominated for three Grammys, and is the first female songwriter to have three simultaneous top 10 songs ("7 Rings" and "Thank U, Next" as well as Panic! At The Disco’s "High Hopes") in the Billboard Hot 100 since Iggy Azalea back in 2014.

Tayla Parx will join Lizzo on her US tour from April 23 to May 24. Keep an eye out for her debut album We Need To Talk, dropping April 5.
