By any measure, Tupac Shakur led a dramatic life. From humble beginnings as an aspiring drama kid on the East Coast to his move across the country to invest in a rapping career, which of course led to international stardom and a still unsolved murder. It is a life that seems ripe to receive a cinematic adaptation, which is precisely what we are getting with All Eyez on Me. And as the film's just-released second trailer shows, it is not pulling any punches when it comes to the depiction of the dark and dangerous side of his life.

The new teaser starts political and just keeps going from there, focusing in on the dark side of his fame. Tupac infamously incensed U.S. Vice President Dan Quayle, who cited the rapper's lyrics as being a call to violence, and it appears that this gets a shoutout in the film. By trailer's end we get sneak peeks at scenes taking place in prison, shootouts and heartbreak, though not necessarily in that order.

All Eyez on Me stars newcomer Demetrius Shipp, Jr. in the title role, with Jamal Woolard reprising his role as The Notorious B.I.G. from the biopic Notorious. And if that doesn't satisfy your Tupac craving, than there are a score of other Tupac-centric films headed our way, including one about his death starring Johnny Depp.

All Eyez on Me is set to hit theaters on November 11.

In other Tupac news, a lyric sheet to his song "Catchin' Feelings" that was written by hand is about to go up for auction. Read about it right here.
