Gosha Rubchinskiy’s new SS17 collection is a celebration of vintage Italian sportswear. In addition to drawing inspiration from such labels for the seasonal selection, Rubchinskiy even went so far as to pay homage to select brands like FILA and Kappa.

In leading up to this week’s delivery, the it-designer presents his official lookbook for SS17. Shot by Rubchinskiy, the project stars a pair of Gosha’s muses, Felix Edwards and Jonathan Darby, who both appeared in his SS17 show.

“For me it’s very Italy and very Gosha,” Rubchinskiy said an interview with Dazed. “It’s about Europe now. This is the time when people need to collaborate and connect with each other, because we have the internet – everyone knows what’s happening around the world so it’s stupid to be isolated. Let’s try to find words and ways to speak and live with each other. This is the main message.”

Each Gosha Rubchinskiy style highlighted in the SS17 lookbook will be exclusive to Dover Street Market on December 1.
