As the year is winding down to a close, Beats 1 has taken the time to count down the top songs played on the Apple radio station during 2016. The recapped show aired this morning, as Zane Lowe, Ebro Darden and Julie Adenuga presented a list of the 50 biggest tracks from the year.

In addition to playing the tunes, Beats 1 also aired exclusive interviews with various artists who helped shape 2016. These musicians included Drake, Lady Gaga, Chance The Rapper, The 1975, Skepta, Bruno Mars, Kiiara, Calvin Harris, Kungs and the Chainsmokers.

According to Beats 1, some of the year's standout tracks were Drake's "Once Dance," Kanye West's "Fade," Travis Scott and Young Thug's "Pick up the Phone," The Weeknd's "Starboy," and D.R.A.M.'s "Broccoli," among a slew of others.
