Last night, Lupe Fiasco posted a new track to SoundCloud titled “N.E.R.D.,” which featured the controversial line: “Artists gettin’ robbed for their publishing / By dirty Jewish execs who think that it’s alms from the covenant.”

Of course, the statement regarding “Jewish execs” caused quite the uproar on Twitter last night, which subsequently led to Fiasco hoarding off legions of angry listeners and privating his account.

“Yo Lupe fans it’s been fun and I hope you’ve had fun. I’m officially not releasing anymore music. Albums cancelled,” said Fiasco following the drama. Earlier, Lupe Fiasco announced three upcoming albums for this year, which were pushed back two months ago due to production issues.
