Following the inception of Balenciaga’s outrageously expensive, “IKEA-inspired” tote bag, it is safe to say that the fashion world has not only been up in arms, but also extremely productive, with everyone jumping on the latest fashion hype.

Whether meant comically or otherwise, Amsterdam’s STUDIO HAGEL has just offered up a strong take on Balenciaga’s lauded Speed Trainer silhouette. Despite the tooling system remaining somewhat different, the bespoke pair’s upper is an uncanny representation of the aforementioned model, featuring a raised, sock-like form, as well as IKEA-branded collaring and ring-pull detailing.
