Editor’s Notes: Global Citizen, an international advocacy organization dedicated to mobilizing citizens around the world to take action and end extreme poverty, has partnered with multi-branded luxury sportswear showroom M5 for a limited edition Nike Air Force 1 Low.
With 10 pairs only produced, all proceeds will go towards the platform’s initiative, which is to end poverty by 2030. The partnership between M5 and Global Citizen comes out of a shared belief in the values of “For Freedom, For Justice, For All.”
Michael Baquerizo, head of Special Projects at M5, echoed this sentiment. “For freedom, for justice, for all simply represents equality for us at M5. We’re a group of diverse people from many different backgrounds, and we come together to accomplish what we have to to get our job done. We don’t dance around race, we embrace it and because it’s easy for us we want it to be easier for everyone else as well.”
Additionally, the sneakers will be unveiled to the public at ComplexCon in Long Beach, California on Saturday, November 4.
