Of the many highs and shocking lows that went down at the 2022 Oscars, one subtle yet objectively-headline-worthy moment sneakily emerged at one of the A-list afterparties: adidas x Gucci's collaborative reveal.

First seen on Gucci's "Exquisite" Fall/Winter 2022 runway, the adidas x Gucci collection instantly became one of the year's biggest fashion team-ups despite only being revealed in February.

The 14th annual aptly-named "THE PARTY," hosted by Madonna's agent Guy Oseary (the guy who recently signed Bored Ape Yacht Club, seriously), had a special attraction for its star-studded guest list beyond the booze and tunes: a piece of gifted adidas x Gucci headwear.

Packaged in thematic adidas x Gucci wrapping, the dad cap and bucket hat — the first adidas x Gucci items to debut before the June 7 release date — speak for themselves with ample co-branding and monogrammed "GG" canvas crowns.

Of course, the guests could likely have scored anything they'd like from the adidas x Gucci collection with or without the gifted lids.

Their ranks included Lil Nas X, Chris Rock, Leonardo DiCaprio, Taylor Swift, Andrew Garfield, Robert Pattinson, Diddy, and Khloe & Kim Kardashian, to name only a few household names.

Unfortunately, the collaborative adidas x Gucci sneakers, arguably the most hyped items from the drop, have yet to surface — not even on the red carpet — but expect a series of hyperbolic exclamations when they finally appear this summer.

For now, the tasty tease of adidas & Gucci's delicious main course will have to do.

Consider these caps a fancy hors d'oeuvres, one that's all but guaranteed to have fans salivating for the adidas x Gucci collection.
