adidas' Most Wildly Luxurious Samba Is Back to Rule the Jungle
adidas' leopard Sambas are back. But it's different the second time around (same animal, though).
The newest pairs are slightly lighter than the previous viral effort. It still features the same creamy leather touches as before, but now hunter green accents join them.
What's more, adidas has brought more models along for the latest safari ride, preparing a full "Leopard Magic" collection that also includes the Handball Spezial and slim Japan sneakers.
Of course, the Samba remains the main attraction, especially after 2025's animal-print outfit, which sold out quickly everywhere and was restocked (then it sold out again).
It was essentially a more accessible version of the popular Wales Bonner x adidas Samba collaboration, which featured cheetah-print pony hair and other luxurious touches. The general-release pairs maintain that luxe and hairy feel but at a more affordable price point.
There's been some confusion about whether the Sambas featured cheetah or leopard prints. But one thing's for sure, they're a TikTok hit.
The sportswear brand looks to continue riding this leopard hype, having dropped these new Samba sneakers, which are now available at retailers like Footdistrict for €130 (around $150).
