Editor’s Notes: Tokyo is the next city in adidas’ AM4 City Series to get a SPEEDFACTORY-produced running sneaker. Dubbed the AM4TKY, this sneaker was designed by local runners and creators to complement the vast and varied Tokyo expanse before being assembled at SPEEDFACTORY USA.

According to the Three Stripes: “adidas recognized runners required a design with the agility and stability to tackle every unexpected corner and easily change direction at pace, regardless of underfoot terrain.”

In addition to the connected eyestay mentioned above, the AM4TKY features some of adidas’ best running technology, including Boost and a floating torsion bar.

If you’re looking to pick up a pair of these runners, you’ll be able to do so on September 20 on adidas.com or at select retailers for $200.
