adidas fan page @adisight shared detailed images of what is believed to be one of three sample GORE-TEX adidas YEEZY 1050s. The boot, which features an aggressive tread and duck boot-style tooling, is done up in autumnal real-leaf camouflage.

Before the adidas YEEZY Boost 350 V2 “replaced the Roshe” and became Kanye West’s most popular silhouette from his ever-expanding adidas catalogue, West and the Three Stripes dabbled in heavy-duty footwear. The result was the adidas YEEZY 950, a waterproof boot that put chunky sneakers to shame with its oversized and aggressive tooling, its overall aesthetic taking inspiration from Duck Boots.

The YEEZY 1050 was the 950’s successor and unveiled during the YEEZY Season 3 presentation at Madison Square Garden. However, the 1050 never saw a public release, which is why the rare GORE-TEX-infused sample above is so noteworthy.
