For the first time ever, the eyelets on the shoe spell out "Jordan" in tribute to the shoe's namesake, while the Jumpman logo and "23" insignia are also featured.
The design of the Air Jordan 11 came at a time when both the basketball world and Nike thought signature Jordan sneakers had run their course.
