December 15 marked the final release of 2018’s year-long Air Jordan 3 output — a re-release of the iconic “Mocha” colorway. The popular iteration debuted in 2001, coming updated this time around with a white leather upper accented with dark mocha elephant print and Jumpman branding on the tongue, heel, and insoles.
Following its official Jordan Brand-affiliated retail release, the new drop has now surfaced on StockX (albeit with a slight price hike relative to its penned official value). If you’ve been keeping up with 2018’s celebration of the Tinker Hatfield silhouette, however, you’re not going to want to miss this one.
Having initially sat on shelves in 2001, the simple but unique original gained cult status and its original $100 price tag reached resell peaks of more than four times that. If the 2018 release follows suit, securing your pair could see you sitting on a future collectible down the line.
