A$AP Rocky’s new song Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n) has sparked internet rumors that he and Rihanna may have secretly gotten married.

Intuitive keyboard detectives globally have been dissecting the rapper’s first release of 2023 and have stumbled across the lyric “My wife is erotic, I’m smokin’ exotic” as its most interesting.

For the untrained reader, this line is suggesting that A$AP Rocky now has a wife (presumably Rihanna) and that he also smokes weed. No hate here, hombre.

The pair are rumored to be enjoying some down time after a busy few months, one which saw them make multiple front row appearances during Paris Fashion Week, most notably during Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton debut the week after Rihanna joined the house as an ambassador.

Still, no real rest for the wicked with the release of A$AP Rocky’s new song on July 20 and the subsequent whispers that have risen.

The line “New collab’ with my baby mom” has also sparked rumors. Some have interpreted the lyric as a reference to their kid (of which they have another on the way), with others have suggesting that the “collab” aspect of the line is actually a secret code for a wedding.

However which way you decide to translate A$AP Rocky’s presumably cryptic lyrics, just remember this: it’s literally just a song. After all, when Rihanna offered everyone the chance to stand under her umbrella back in 2007, did she really mean it? Unlikely.
