On May 5, we finally get to see what pre-bump Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were all dressed up for in the streets of New York City during Summer 2021: A$AP Rocky's "D.M.B." music video.
Like the couple's regular sightings, Rihanna and Rocky were inseparable during the nearly 5-minute visual — and with the two fashion killas in one setting, style moments and jewelry drip were aplenty.
In addition to delivering a mock proposal via custom "Marry Me" and "I Do" grills, the couple wed in the video where Rihanna became the red Margiela-veiled bride we deserve.
On top of all that, items from Virgil Abloh's Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2022 collection, AWGE, and vintage Dior pieces donned by the two.
Sure these were solid 'fits and all, but did you catch A$AP Rocky's Rihanna-inspired ring, though?
In the visual, A$AP Rocky flashed a custom diamond statuette finger ring, made by Jason of Beverly Hills – a go-to jeweler for Rocky and Drake.
The gold ring, valued at $50,000, boasts a female figure — an homage to Rihanna, obviously — wearing a white diamond-encrusted mini dress and chains resembling a braided hairstyle. Meanwhile, the word "Poouchie" is stamped upon the jewelry piece's base.
The ring's statuette supposedly nods to Rihanna's 2019 British Fashion Awards look — which she attended alongside A$AP Rocky with the two outfitted in ensembles from her since-paused Fenty label.
Clearly, Rocky is a man who pays attention to detail, referencing a moment that unofficially kickstarted the couple's noteworthy 'fit game only to make things official nearly a year later.
Simply put, Rocky's Rihanna ring is impressive and romantic — surely enough to make the simp in someone ask, "me and who?"
