Demna Gvasalia continued to display his ability to "get the people going" with his Balenciaga SS20 ready-to-wear collection shown at Paris Fashion Week. Attendees congregated at the "Balenciaga parliament or assembly" to see the designer's take on "power dressing and fashion uniforms."

With this in mind, Gvasalia played a lot with exaggerated boxy shoulders in suits, fur coats, dresses, and puffer jackets that erased any semblance of a neck. It wasn't all white collar, though, as streetwear motifs were still present in a longsleeves shirt with "B@len©i@9a" and "X-Rated" graphics, as well as a T-shirt adorned with "Balenciaga's Next Top Model." He also took it back to Balenciaga's roots with a series of ball gowns blown up with massive bell-shaped crinolines.
