As Netflix continues to ramp up its content output, December will welcome the release of yet another new original picture, Bright. Directed by David Ayer (Suicide Squad, Training Day), the film finds Will Smith and Joel Edgerton starring as a pair of LAPD officers.

The unlikely duo of Officer Ward (Smith) and Officer Jakoby (Edgerton) must in turn work tirelessly to ensure that the city of Los Angeles remains safe from a sinister underworld filled with gang violence and dark forces.

According to Ayer, “The most important thing about this film is the relationship between Will and Joel.” In the latest preview, we then learn more about the duo's unique partnership.

You can look forward to Netflix original Bright premiering December 22. It will also be available in select theaters.
