Crocs' Peanut Butter Clog Gets Laced Up
Crocs and mules go together like peanut butter and jelly, and now the rubber clog manufacturer is taking that incredibly literally with a peanut butter-toned slip-on, poised for fall evenings and any number of pumpkin-infused beverage outings.
Inspired by maritime aesthetics, Crocs' Axle Suede Mule is the wearable embodiment of a classic clog made for the coastal elite. You know, if they were to wear that sort of thing.
This elevated take on a classic Crocs clog is kitted with a genuine cowhide suede upper that adds a touch of sophistication to the humble slip-on.
The aesthetic differences don't stop there, as the Axle Suede Mule also sports thin beaded laces for a little extra razzle dazzle.
Elsewhere, the soft mule sports reinforced double stitching around the upper and Crocs' GripRite lightweight traction outsole, making the simple shoe quite the wearable slip-on. Now, obviously, shoes with no real backing and weighty rubber compositions aren't the pinnacle of stability.
