On October 1, Larry David and company will be returning to TV with season nine of Curb Your Enthusiasm. In continuing to heighten anticipation surrounding the premiere, HBO has today unveiled the initial trailer for the new selection of episodes.

Amidst all of the superhero hoopla this week, the clip in turn finds Larry David giving us his best Batman impersonation — sort of. Much like the Dark Knight's illuminating signal in Gotham, David has his own beacon in the sky, but upon catching a glimpse — to no surprise — he decides to remain in bed instead. "Turn the light off. I'm not going," David insists.

Curb Your Enthusiasm season nine arrives October 1 at 10 p.m. EST on HBO.

In other HBO-related news, LeBron James has been tasked to produce a new sneaker show for the network.
