Double Tap to Zoom

Drake was the unexpected guest on Joe Budden's IG Live on Sunday night. Historically, their interactions have been notoriously petty, marked by diss-tracks, negative reviews, and IG trolling — but this time, the former adversaries kept it light and friendly.

Budden noted that Rap Radar's Elliott Wilson and B.Dot were granted an interview with the 6 God at "The Embassy" in Toronto, Drake's $100 million mansion, which recently featured in the "Toosie Slide" video clip.

The firebrand media personality pressed Drake on why he hadn't landed an interview yet, and if he'd been avoiding him. "Cause I'm too broke?" he asked. "I didn't want to say it," Drake laughed.

Drake eventually promised him an interview "when the album's ready." Budden wasn't put off the scent that easily, though."You've been saying that for a year, and now I have a whole leaked album with like 30 Drake joints" he joked.

So it looks as though Drake will be granting that interview when his new album drops, and in the meantime, he'll keep popping up in his IG live comments. When Budden confronted him about his trolling Drake responded that the comments were always intended to have an "encouraging undertone." Watch below.
