Rumors of a Drake x Nike Air Force 1 have been swirling for quite some time. Leaks first emerged over a year ago, though it’s only now that we’re getting our first look at what could be an upcoming “Certified Lover Boy” Nike Air Force 1.

Drake’s relationship with Nike stretches back several years to the OVO Air Jordan collaborations. There was a period where it was rumored Drake would be switching sides and joining adidas, though the famous beef with Pusha-T reportedly put an end to any Drizzy x Three Stripes collection.

In more recent times, Drake has released several collections under a NOCTA Nike sublabel, as well as a range of “Certified Lover Boy” merch, which were supposed to serve as promotion for Drake’s studio album of the same name. That album was supposed to be released in January 2021, however, it has been delayed indefinitely.

The Nike Air Force 1, which features hearts on the outsole instead of the customary stars, as well as “Love You Forever” on the midsole where Nike Air branding is usually present, has not been released just yet. There is no concrete information as to when the shoe will be made available to the public, though the leaks suggest that it could be coming sooner than we think.

Check out the shoe above (which looks to be constructed of higher quality leather than regular Air Force 1s) and stay tuned for any information.
