Double Tap to Zoom

Right now, I can't move without hearing that Drake is up to something mad.

Whether he’s dressing like a rottweiler, gifting members of his audience $35k handbags, or wearing cute pink hair clips, the rapper is everywhere right now. Seriously.

But hey, who wants a little more Aubrey Drake Graham? Or, more specifically, some of his NOCTA footwear that's rumored to be arriving in the form of a collaborative Nike Air Zoom Drive.

Posted on Instagram by sneaker curator @kicksdong, Drake’s potential NOCTA Nike is said to be an updated take on the Swoosh's archival Air Zoom Drive, a silhouette originally released in 1999.

Draped in an all-black colorway, this 2023 collaborative take looks to feature NOCTA branding on the tongue, heel, and midsole, atop a slimline Air Max-esque bubble at the heel.

Rumors of a new Drake sneaker come less than one month after the rapper debuted another Nike collaboration in typical Drake fashion: boarding his matching Virgil Abloh-designed private jet in a new NOCTA fleece.

The cozy garment — which was released at the end of July — is the latest in a long list of collaborative drops between NOCTA and Nike, a relationship that started back in 2020.

While no release details have been confirmed or denied by either party, we can’t think of any better way to wear the new NOCTA fleece than with a pair of NOCTA x Nike Air Zoom Drives.
