From New Balance and Nike to Balenciaga and Maison Margiela, the sneaker world’s dadcore movement continues to grow. But with what seems like every fashion house in the world trying to dip their feet in the trend, Dsquared2 has kicked and widely missed the mark with its new experimental silhouette.

Inserting pops of color into a show which otherwise served military aesthetics, “The Giant Sandals” were modeled next to chunky sneakers also getting their first outing at the SS19 show, and retail for the not-so-bank-account-friendly price of $1,990.

For those of you who simply can’t get enough of the dad-sneaker trend, the heels are available to preorder on the DSquared2 website now. If you really feel it necessary to take your dad core game to a 90-degree incline, click through to cop.
