What We’re Saying: DTLR and New Balance are no strangers to collaboration, having teamed up on Greek God and muscle car-inspired projects in the past. Now, the retailer is shaping up to drop a Washington, DC-inspired 992, dubbed “Discover & Celebrate.”

The sneaker pairs New Balance’s iconic grey with black and red detailing. The shade of red is taken from DC’s flag, which is also featured on the heel of the 992. The midsole’s heel mimics the same color scheme as the sneaker’s upper. Mesh makes up the base of the upper, while soft suede and pigskin overlays complete the look.

The DTLR x New Balance 992 is set to be released on May 28 exclusively at DTLR (in-store and online). Stay tuned for news on a wider release.
