Here's to a Season of Short Shirts & Shorts That Aren’t
The past few summers, short shorts were all the rave. Blame Paul Mescal and his Greek God-like thighs for that one. More recently, however, I've been witnessing a shift toward shorts that aren't actually all that short.
Granted, warmer days have just begun, but I'm compelled to forecast a change of tide. Specifically, of how shorts' seams are elongating, from far above the knee to well below.
Ironically, it seems that, in tandem, the tops to pair with said bottoms are, in turn, losing in square footage. Sleeves are halved and hem's are cropped, for a retro- léger look up top straight from your stylish grampa's Island photo album.
So, what does one do with this information? After all, we can't reattach severed pant legs, nor would we want to go chopping away at our favorite button ups. Good news is, thanks to END., no one will have to.
