Levi's
1 / 7

You can't have too much of a good thing when it comes to fashion, which is perhaps why ERL — the cool-kid label helmed by Eli Russell Linnetz — is reuniting with Levi's to drop a second collaboration less than a year after their first debuted.

Just like its predecessor, the upcoming collection is rich with nostalgia. ERL's inaugural Levi's collab harkened to the '90s with baggy jorts and denim maxi dresses — this time, things get even more retro.

Throwing things back to the '70s, Linnetz references specific Levi's garments from the Disco Era. The result is a 5-piece capsule that includes a sherpa-lined vest, bootcut jeans, raw-hem overalls, an easy, A-line shift dress, and a shoulder bag — all crafted from faded, light-wash denim.

Things have been busy for Linnetz. On April 25, Linnetz launched ERL's very first e-commerce site, which the designer described as "a remedy to the inherent dissociation between designer and clothing made for other people."

To celebrate the occasion, Linnetz designed a collection featuring his first in-line offering of sunglasses and footwear.

Of course, these goods don't come cheap (ERL is a bonafide luxury brand, after all). Its partnership with Levi's offers a more accessible way for fans to get their hands on Linnetz's signature California cool. So mark your calendars — ERL x Levi's, round two, releases on May 9.
