Today, London-based fashion marketplace Farfetch has kicked off an online campaign and retail activation celebrating everything sneaker and streetwear related. Launching worldwide on farfetch.com, the celebration includes curated sneaker content such as exclusive daily features deep diving into the community as well as a massive selection of sneakers from rare grails to luxury kicks and sportswear staples.

Farfetch, which acquired American sneaker and deadstock retailer Stadium Goods late last year, has launched the activation to raise awareness around its newly-expanded offering of sneakers and celebrate the community as a whole. Although the in-depth focus on sneaker content will only last the week, it marks Farfetch's ongoing move to further establish itself as a leading sneaker destination.

To help you navigate through all the sneaker goodness and to provide extra inspiration, Farfetch has launched a special edition of its curation series Farfetch Communities. Tapping into the sneaker community, the edit invites some of the most respected names in the industry to weigh in on their favorite styles available. One of those featured is Highsnobiety’s very own fashion director Atip.

“I dress from the ground up - so I pick a pair and dress according to my choice of footwear for the day”

Atip

An avid sneaker fan since his mom bought him his first pair of Nike at eight years old, Atip starting building his collection with a Nike Air Pegasus from circa 1985. Sneakers continue to be an ongoing obsession of his and, as Highsnobiety's fashion director, who better to ask to for an informed selection. Shop his selects from Farfetch’s sneaker week offering below.
