HBO has released the teaser for next week's penultimate episode of Game of Thrones and it looks set to be even more battle-filled than previous episodes.

The chilling trailer begins with Beric Dondarrion warning Jon Snow that, "Death is the enemy. The first enemy and the last. The enemy always win. And we still need to fight it," before he and others head into what looks like an increasingly futile battle against the White Walkers.

The rest of the trailer gives us a preview into the violence to come, including a glimpse of Beric Dondarrion's flaming sword, before finishing on a menacing shot of the Night King.

Next week will be the longest GoT episode yet, coming in 71 minutes, so there's a lot of time for the battle to unfold. Watch the teaser trailer above.
