Originally, the Gucci Screener Sneakers landed in the brand's Cruise 2019 collection, but, with much more toned-down proportions. The original silhouette took inspiration from the ‘70s basketball court sneakers - making these another retro shoot-and-score from Gucci.
The Italian luxury brand is no stranger to crafting old-school. Alessandro Michele's creative direction at the leather goods house cemented a unique ‘70s retro aesthetic that prevails to this day. With leather and mesh detailing, this piece features some padded panels and a fuzzy outer shell, for added coziness. Its thick white sole enveloped by a brown, textured outsole gives extra height. Thick shoelaces are the cherry on top of this epic inflated effect. These new kicks come in two colorways: monogrammed brown and beige-toned.
