HOKA / Saison /

HOKA’s Tor Summit sneaker is, in my opinion, probably the sportswear company's greatest single shoe. It has everything you could ever want of a multipurpose lifestyle sneaker: a chunky midsole, a rubber mudguard, and metal eyelet hardware to give the shoe a real outdoorsy feel.

Honestly, there aren’t enough superlatives to describe just how fond of HOKA’s Tor Summit I am, especially following the reveal of its latest “Seed Green” colorway.

When HOKA dropped an “Oatmilk” take of the trail-ready Tor Summit sneaker earlier this year, I was convinced that the shoe had reached its full aesthetic potential. Yet, here we are, less than three months later with a new look that elevates the silhouette even higher.

Now, I’ll admit, I’m a green kind of guy. Take a look through my wardrobe and you’ll find a deluge of differing shades of green. So the fact that I’ve taken such a liking to HOKA’s gloriously green Tor Summit comes as no surprise.

HOKA's “Seed Green” Tor Summit, which has been mixed with pops of “Eggnog”, is set to release on April 5 (and a few days later on Highsnobiety's web shop). If I’ve learned anything from previous Tor Summit drops, it’s that they won’t be available for long, such is the popularity of HOKA's hardy trail shoe.

Since its initial release earlier this year, HOKA’s robust walking sneaker has been perpetually sold out at international, even with umpteen restocks, refreshed colorways, and even some similar-looking styles dropping with impressive consistency.

Still, if you don’t try, you don’t get (is that the saying?), so I’ll certainly be having a go at getting a pair of HOKA’s great green giants when they officially land. Wish me luck.
