Multiple samples of Kanye West's YEEZY sneakers have leaked this week, including an early prototype of the 451. Today we get a look at the intriguing silhouette, courtesy of YEEZY insider, YEEZY MAFIA.

Simply captioned: "YEEZY 451 SAMPLE. YEEZY 450 COMING SOON," the Instagram post reveals the sock-like construction of the 451, in addition to its already much talked-about sole unit. We first received a preview of the unusual sole design back in 2018 when Kanye himself shared a photo of the sole unit by itself.

More recently, West stepped out at Paris Fashion Week in the YEEZY 451, a moment that instantly went viral because Ye was photographed dodging a puddle as he got out of the car to avoid sullying his kicks.

Kanye collaborated on the YEEZY 451 with legendary sneaker designer Steven Smith, who reportedly reworked the sole unit. Courtesy of West's more recent look, we know that the sneaker pairs a mesh upper with a sawtooth midsole that extends through the upper.

Ye originally announced that the 451 would release in 2019, but the year came and went without a launch. He has yet to reveal a new drop date.

See below for the evolution of the sneaker.
