Kid Cudi has blessed us with a number of red carpet fashion moments recently. It was only last month that he was wearing a bridal dress to the CFDA Fashion Awards and we're still not over his grunge-inspired look at the Met Gala. Stepping out for the premiere of Netflix's latest film Don't Look Up, the musician got us talking again as he rocked some fluffy footwear on the red carpet.

Wearing a relatively stripped-back outfit comprised of a hoodie, puffer jacket, and cargo trousers, all eyes were on Cudi's unconventional choice of footwear at the event.

The "Day 'N' Nite" singer wore a pair of "Wild Cat Teddy Loafers" from Vetements. This huge pair of sip-on shoes feature a fluffy and frankly adorable, teddy bear on the upper. Your foot slides in somewhere around the bear's belly while its head stares up at you from the front of the shoe and its legs and arms cuddle your ankle and the bottom of your leg. Huge footwear which engulfs half the wearer's leg is enjoying the limelight through the adidas YEEZY NSLTD boot, Knit Runner Boot, and Prada's cozy quilted boots, and now Kid Cudi has introduced us to a new pair of XXL shoes for consideration.

Vetements has a history of headline-grabbing price tags and this furry footwear design is no different. With a cool $2000 price tag to have your feet and legs hugged by its teddy bear, the shoes have luckily found themselves in some winter sales, allowing you to get Cudi's look at a discount.

For the rest of his outfit, you will have to head over from Demna Gvasalia's old label to his current venture as it is comprised of pieces from Balenciaga. Most notably, Cudi has customized his orange hoodie which reads "Hi my name is ___ if I am lost take me to the Balenciaga store." Writing "Willis500" in the space reserved for a name, the cryptic phrase has been used by the artist before, using it to caption an image of him at the Met Gala.

While the likes of Leonardo Di Caprio, Ron Perlman, and Tyler Perry arrived at the premiere in a traditional mix of formalwear, Cudi's choice to rock teddy bear shoes and a playful Balenciaga hoodie exhibit the fun and uncompromising style that we have come to know and love. If you're looking to join Cudi in his experimentation with oversized furry footwear, shop the look below.
